Wow I can not believe we went to Hanmer by we I mean, Year 4,5 and 6, it was the 8th. Just to let you know we went for a school camp and we sometime do that no wait we do it every year anyway Here is what happened, hope you like it.

So we got there by car and I went I Mr Ms car with Grace and Hannah. Bang we were there in a flash and when we got there we moved all our stuff into the cabins, I was in cabin C4. But the cabins were so small we had to put our stuff under the beds I was in a cabin with a girl called Evie and she was very very funny.  We are going on the waterfall walk that will be fun, The waterfall walk was so hard, But when it was the end I was so happy about it because I was in the slow group But safe group and I was happy about that because the waterfall was very cold so the slow group did not have to be there very long but on the way back I was still in the slow group.  

Then when we got Back from the walk we had free time, I played truth or dare with Grace and Hannah. When we finished Playing that we had Dinner and then we got ready for bed that was boring very boring,good for us. THEN we went to bed, The next day, The group that I was in we went tree climbing  That was very very hard but I got higher then I thought I would. There were three trees that you could climb I climb Two tree, Then after break we went to mission impossible, and the team the I had was all boys. But that is ok I guess? I was very tired the next day, And that was very bad because that day we had to pack up the cabinets and that was very hard, then we drove back and we got to say hi to everyone and that was good!

Wow that was a lot to say for me, So just In that hole thing, Guess I loved camp, So when I am sitting here doing this I guess I want to fly back to but I can not. I liked the waterfall hike the most, For the next camp we do I hope that there is more activities bye.    

Point-of-view Wonder!

        Our writing task last week was to write a short essay explaining what point of view R.J Palacio used when writing “Wonder”. We also found quotes to back up what we thought. It was very fun but hard at the same time because there were only 3 books. So we had to write 3 paragraphs. Here is mine! I think R.J Palacio uses first person when she tells ‘Wonder’. There are 3 examples as to why I think this.

August is the main character in the book. August says:

“I know I am not an ordinary ten-year-old kid, I mean, sure, I do ordinary thing. I eat ice cream. I ride my bike. I play ball. I have an XBox. Stuff like that makes me ordinary”.

In the start he says:

“The only reason I’m not ordinary Is that no one else sees me that way”.

He also says  “Since I’ve never been to a real school before, I am pretty much totally and completely petrified".

Therefore, I think that the author used first person to write this book.
